World War II Merimite side pannier project

We got the ideal about using Merimite food containers from a penny pinching website that did a great job of breaking down the process step by step. Finding the containers online proved to be a challenge. Finding them locally was actually better and here is what they look like (see picture).
I will post more pictures as the project develops.
