Established in 2006 by Geri & Q Fortune (founders), along with co-founders, Joseph & Joshua Rodriguez and based in Miami (Florida, USA), Grow Verde is the only Vespa-sharing™ company in the world. Headquartered in Miami, with dedicated employees and an annual carbon reduction of 2,592 tons. Grow Verde has demonstrated leadership in carbon reduction with a 100% share of the “member” based Scooter market using Vespa Scooters. Our office is centrally located adjacent to the iconic Design District, Midtown Miami, Down Town Miami and the Performing Arts Center.
Grow Verde pioneered the concept of Vespasharing based on the established concept of Car-sharing pioneered by car manufacturer Volkswagen in Germany in the mid-1980. Japanese car manufacturers Honda and Toyota have also been quick to take the lead, with Honda now running its own services in Singapore and Japan, and part owner of one of the largest services in the United States.
By the end of 2003, the number of professional car sharing services in European cities exceeded 250 with a total membership of more than 200,000. North America has quickly followed Europe with successful services now operating in more than 60 cities in the USA and Canada and a combined membership of over 80,000.
The two years of exhaustive research into carbon emissions and sustainable practices applicable to real world economics has been the foundation of Grow Verde. Vespa, a universally recognized symbol of Italian style fits well into the Grow Verde model. With future hybrid plug-in (LX 50 and X8 125), testing right now by the Piaggio Group™, Verde feels the business model and a great brand is a dream paring.
