Description

Live White Bird of Paradise (Strelitzia nicolai): Tropical Foliage Plant. Enjoy the natural character of a live White Bird of Paradise, featuring broad, paddle-shaped leaves and an upright tropical silhouette. Its upright shape adds a natural focal point to living rooms, entryways, and office spaces. The foliage and overall form bring a distinctive botanical look to indoor plant displays.

Pot size refers to the width measured across the top rim of the pot.

  • Light: Very bright light; gentle direct sun is welcome. Introduce stronger sunlight gradually to reduce leaf stress.
  • Watering: Water when the upper few inches of soil feel dry.
  • Care: Use a well-draining mix and allow room for large leaves; gradually acclimate to direct sun. Best indoors in bright light or outdoors in warm, frost-free weather. Ideal temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C).
  • Growth & expectations: New large leaves emerge from the base and unfold as the plant matures. Leaf splitting can occur naturally; indoor flowering is uncommon. Actual growth depends on light, season, and care.
  • Please note: Each plant is unique. Leaf count, size, shape, color, and fullness may naturally vary from photos. Arrives in a nursery pot unless a decorative pot is selected.

Sizes refer to the grower pot, measured across the top rim. Each plant is grown by hand, so leaf count and shape can vary slightly from the photos.
