Description

Live Black ZZ (Zamioculcas zamiifolia (Black-leaved selection)): Easy-Care Foliage Houseplant. Bring home a live Black ZZ, known for new growth that deepens from bright green to rich purple-black. Its foliage adds natural color and texture to desks, shelves, living rooms, and offices. Display it on its own or pair it with other plants to create a layered indoor greenery collection.

Pot size refers to the width measured across the top rim of the pot.

  • Light: Low to bright indirect light. Avoid harsh midday sun to help protect the foliage.
  • Watering: Allow the soil to dry fully between waterings.
  • Care: Use a fast-draining mix and avoid waterlogged roots. Underground rhizomes store moisture. Best indoors; outdoors seasonally in warm shade. Ideal temperature: 65–85°F (18–29°C).
  • Growth & expectations: New glossy shoots emerge from the base and slowly unfurl into full stems. Growth is often slow indoors, with periods of little visible change. Actual growth depends on light, season, and care.
  • Please note: Each plant is unique. Leaf count, size, shape, color, and fullness may naturally vary from photos. Arrives in a nursery pot unless a decorative pot is selected.
